We’ll See

Here’s the thing, not every story I start will have a finish because not all story ideas have the creative fuel to keep going. If I create a character that I do not like, then the story, by association, can lose its attraction. Not all ideas are meant to be stars.

First off, I struggle with the technical aspects of an SUV crashing down into an abandoned houses’ cellar. Houses made of wood rot into a pile of debris. Did they miss all that wood? A chimney could be missing because the brick was salvaged. 

I’d rather the story not begin with a dumb move. 

Has somebody hidden the house debris? Carted it away to make cute boxes for a gift shop? Used it to make a home coming bonfire?

Hm? We’ll see.
